I feel like a BIG sticky note!

Well ladies, I think it's going to be one of those days! Before I even came downstairs I already had accumulated 18 things on my to do list. I have sticky notes on my computer and on my phone, I even sent myself a memo in an email!

Post a new blog! (check!)

Clean shower head  (use vineager to disolve built up grime!) yuck!

Clean the Shower!

Dust bathroom blinds

Dust room

Dust Blinds

finish Chairs

make a Craigslist ad

reupholster Stool

Tea stuff

place an order for Uppercaseliving

Print and hang up pictures

Buy Aplliance spray

Make a lasagna

Ribbon for my st pattys day tray

Buy a St pattys hat!

Repaint chalkboard wall

Buy a paint roller

Buy a paint for cabinets

However not every one of the tasks needs to get done today but If I want to stay on top of things I have to keep them on my list! Otherwise they'll end up being like the "vent cover" that never got put back on the wall after I painted. (note to myslef...add that to your to do list!)

I'm sure all you ladies can relate? or am I the only one?
I don't think so!

With a note so long, even a woman with an assistant can get overwhelmed! So what do we do? We need to remind ourselves that we have the exact same amount of time that were given to Helen Keller, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein. We can do this! One task at a time!

I think what happens is we get so distracted by our cell phones, facebook, and texting.

If you have a list of things to do and feel a little overwhelmed today, try to turn your phone off for atleast an hour. You would be amazed with what you will accomplish in just 60 minutes!

A good friend suggested to me yesterday that I should get a "Do Not Disturb" sign for my bedroom. So when I need to study that I can hang the sign on my door. I thought it was silly but I may just give that a try!

We need to find ways to help us get all those things done so we can be the women that God designed us to be. So ultimately we can open up our schedules to be used by Him!

Today let's choose to use our next 24 hours to be productive not only for our business, self, home etc, but for God...put him on your list!

So now that I have one thing off my list (my blog) I'll venture to tackle a few more while anxiously excited to leave room on the sticky note for God. Have your way Lord! Have a great productive day ladies!
