Cleaning House

Yesterday I was cleaning my house when I did that one thing every woman shouldn't do! You know the task that leads to another, which leads to another? We'll I did it...I moved out the fridge to clean behind it!

To my surprise I ran into a few invitations,
three magnets and a lot of DUST!

I took a picture right away because this is how our lives are with Christ. To others we look like were all clean but behind the scenes and behind the smiles, we have some issues (dust) that God wants to clean out. This was not a job I had planned to do today, and that's how we feel sometimes when God brings up an issue that we don't particularly want to deal with.

We try to "keep the dust hidden" we say its okay no one can see it!

But just because other people cant see it doesn't mean its not there!

God sees it! And He wants to clean you up!

Picture it like this:

When you pay a very high price for something you want to make sure it is "kept up" and you protect it. That is what God wants to do with you.  He owns you and it’s time to begin the work of claiming and cleaning up what He has paid for. God actually wants to go in each room, He wants to go through your junk, He wants to clean up your mess!

It’s called sanctification.

When He sets you apart and starts cleaning you up.

It doesn't always feel good, but in the end you'll feel GREAT!

To get my floor cleaned it actually took a few spot to be scrubbed,
are you willing on allowing him to "scrub you?"

So that you too can be nice and shiny and NEW?

1 John 1:8: "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

I pray that you allow God to start searching in those areas you know need to be cleaned.
